Tillotoma Foundation organized a Conference on Need for an Effective Strategy on Kashmir. This was a part of the Strategic Insights Seminar Series 2021. The Seminar looked at the major security challenges in Kashmir including insurgency, terrorism etc from a policy perspective and deliberated on the way forward.
The Keynote Speech at the Conference was delivered by Mr A.S. Dulat, former Chief of RAW and Special Director of Intelligence Bureau. The other speakers at the Conference were - - Lt Gen Gurmit Singh, former Deputy Chief of Army Staff and Corps Commander, Srinagar - Lt Gen Syed Ata Hasnain, Chancellor, Central University of Kashmir and former Military Secretary, Indian Army - Prof Amitabh Mattoo (Padma Shri), former Cabinet-Ranked Advisor, Government of Jammu & Kashmir and former Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu - Ms Tehmeena Rizvi, Policy Researcher, Activist and CEO, Jammu & Kashmir Policy Institute - Mr Jitendra K. Ojha, former Joint Secretary, Government of India and Visiting Distinguished Fellow, Tillotoma Foundation The Welcome Address was delivered by Mr Soham Das, Director, Tillotoma Foundation.
Tillotoma Foundation organized one of the most comprehensive and high-profile panels on Chinese Influence in the Indian Ocean Region with distinguished panellists from six stakeholder countries, titled International Panel on "Is Indian Ocean the Next Focus of China's Bellicosity?" on 3rd August, 2020.
